dave and danielle
Dave first discovered the enjoyment of sharing great food and wine with friends while living in Montreal and attending McGill University. He set his sights on the West Coast after college, coming out to adventure in the Sierra Nevada and work the harvest in the Napa Valley. Dave spent the next 12 years making wine in Napa and Sonoma, working with some of the best wineries in California. He was the winemaker at Flowers on the Sonoma Coast when he met Danielle.
Danielle grew up in the Northwestern corner of Connecticut near the Berkshire mountains. When she was young, her family moved to Provence where she developed a love of cooking. After returning to the states for high school, she attended the University of Virginia and then moved to San Francisco. Danielle loves making and sharing delicious food with friends and thinks that it needs a good wine to go along with it.
We started Keatley Wines as a way to continue to learn about California's diversity of landscapes and its potential to craft the next generation of great wines. We are excited that you're joining us on this adventure.
