We've always liked Cabernet Franc from the eastern edge of the Russian River Valley that overlaps with Chalk Hill in Sonoma County.  The days are warm, nights are cool and the complexity of the soils comes through in the wine.  This 2021 bottling from Persia Vineyard shows lifted raspberry notes and has a rich tannin structure that makes us excited to continue to explore this area.
